Short: A reset run type system in A-DOS scripts!
Author: Thomas Hurst <t_hurst@hotmail.com>

Version: 1.0
Type: util/misc
INTRODUCTION
I have always liked Demos, but I have always found it a hassle to have to
reboot with no startup-sequence, fight my way through a basic shell CLI
with no filename completion or file requesters to help me (it never occured
to me to use requestfile!). I once came across a program called Reset
Run, which could have solved my problems, but unfortunately I could never
find it again, so after some thought, the idea for ResRun was born - why
use a complex program when Amiga DOS scripts will do!?!
REQUIREMENTS
You need RequestChoice, RequestFile, Echo and Reboot in C:.
Disksafe by Thomas Richter is also recomended.
INSTALLATION
Use the supplied installer OR...
Simply copy ResRun to your S: directory, and copy the contents of
ResRun.StartupSequence to the front of your Startup-Sequence, just after the
setpatch command.
***NOTE***
Backup your Startup-Sequence first!!!
USAGE
When you execute ResRun you will be met with a file requester. Simply
select the DRAW the program you wish to run is in. After you have pressed
OK you will be met by a second file requester. This requester will allow you
to select the file to run. Once you have selected that you will be asked if
the file you selected was a shell script or not. After this, the system
will reboot, and run the selected program.
NOTE: You may like to have ResRun as an entry in something like Tool Manager.
DISCLAIMER
I accept no responsibility if these scripts do not work, or if they
cause any damage to anything whatsoever, so there.
